Geri Dibiase

A native of Philadelphia, Geri's work has been exhibited throughout the United States as well as in Europe, South America and Australia. She has exhibited at the Maine Photographic Workshop summer show in New York City and the William Penn Museum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Locally, she has had solo shows at Cloud 9, Café Zeus and the Delaware Arts Gallery in Fenwick Island.

Geri's philosophy "to take a closer look, to go more slowly" is evident in her work. Her choice of subject matter often comes from the simplicity of nature, whether it be a floral abstract, a landscape or a romantic look at the human form. This relaxed quality has led interior designers to place her work in industrial and private collections, corporate settings, album covers and posters. Most recently, Geri's photographs were chosen for the cover of Viki Dee's newly released CD.

Informal portraits, family portraits, parties, ceremonies and architectural details are some of the many photographic services available from Geri.

Geri's work is also hand painted on the inside of glass Christmas ornaments, candles and paperweights in the style of Eglomise, or inside painting. Used primarily as fundraising opportunities for churches, schools and corporate entities, Geri will photograph your building, logo or site and work with you to create a highly collectable work of art.

After successfully operating The Main Street Studio in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia for 15 years, Geri now returns full time to her passion for photography. She is delighted to be living and working in Lewes, Delaware, amidst the beauty of the coastline.
